FOB
All of our rates are given net, in euros and exclusive of tax. They may be revised according to fluctuations in the local currency or the dollar and increases in oil prices, and according to international agreements and war risk.
Before finalising an order, it is essential that you check that validity of rates, which are kept up to date on our website.
1 / GOODS
Our rates for goods are ex-warehouse rates exclusive of tax, packaging and transport. When goods leave the factory, liability for them lies with the carrier or the client’s insurance company.
The rates are identical for 20-foot/40-foot/40 HC containers.
2/ SPECIAL PACKAGING/PACKING
We offer clients the option of requesting specific packaging optimised to help reduce transport costs, allowing between 20% and 25% more goods to be transported per container.
Once the boxes have been packaged, we load them (in this case please ignore the rates below; instead, see 3/ Sea freight…), or they are collected by our carrier (in which case the rates below apply).
In the case of optimised special packaging, we use only double-sided cardboard, for both furniture and other items. For wooden packaging, a separate quote is required for each item.
The price includes kraft paper for items that require it, desiccant (sachets of silica gel) and appropriate protective packaging for mirrors and fragile objects.
Single-sided cardboard can be used for items that are not fragile or rounded/delicate, to a maximum of 5% of the container. |
